Crazy Dreams
I couldn't help but blog about this because I think it's so funny. So last night Brady and I went to bed at around our usual time. I'm not even sure what time it was but we must have been asleep for awhile when the fun began. Brady has done or said some pretty funny things in his sleep but last night tops them all. Brady threw back the covers very rapidly and sat up on the side of the bed. It woke me up and I thought for sure the house was on fire or someone broke in or something horrible had happened for him to jolt out of bed like that. I leaned up and said "Hey are you okay? What are you doing?" He looked back at me and had a very shocked, confused look on his face. He then said "but you... you went through the wall, you walked through the wall." He must have been dreaming about me walking through the wall and was trying to come after me, hence his confusion when I was behind him and not in the wall in front of him. I think after a minute he realized he was dreaming so he just laid back down and fell asleep. Then awhile later I woke up again and saw him reaching his arm up to the ceiling. I started to laugh because he has done this before. I asked what he was doing and he said, "I need to get the screws at the top" I started laughing again and he woke up and told me to quit laughing at him. I told him he was weird and we both laughed and went back to sleep. One of these days I'm going to put a camera in our room because he does some entertaining things in his sleep!

Birthdays and Baby Showers
This past week was my birthday and my nephew Connor's birthday. I had to work on my birthday but I work with some great people who make work fun and my sweet husband surprised me and brought in one of my favorite cakes. That night I came home and Brady had some presents for me to open. Brady always goes above and beyond when it comes to getting me presents. This year he got me an iPod touch and a new hiking backpack, both of which I have really been wanting. Thanks babe for always treating me like a princess!
We also went up to celebrate Connor's birthday with him. This kid is one of the most entertaining kids I know. He's always got something funny to say and as you will see in the pics he likes to "ham it up" for the camera. He definitely got spoiled and has a lot of people that love him. He got a bike helmet in one present and we asked him what he was going to do with it since he doesn't have a bike. He quickly responded "I'll just have to wait til Christmas so I can get a bike" His dad then brought out a spiderman bike and his eyes just lit up. It was so fun to see him get so excited and have such a fun birthday. We love you Connor Happy 4th Birthday!

I also went home for the weekend to go to one of my best friends baby shower. Josie is such a cute prego and is one of those people who from behind you can't even tell she's prego. All the girls in the pic are girls I went to high school with and have so many fun memories with. It was so fun to see everyone and catch up.

Jr Prom
I grew up in a place where jr prom is a pretty big deal. Most people are facinated by it when they hear about it. Prom is held on a Friday and Saturday because one night is boys choice and one night is girls choice. They usually ask a date by decorating their room or with some cute little poem of thought Each day is an all day event with an all day date followed by the dance each night. The whole county comes to the high school and watches as each junior comes out with their promenade partner and is anounced by name. Then once everyone has been anounced they promenade (a choreographed dance) around the gym. They usually spell out NS for north sanpete and also the year they will graduate. The girls are all in decked out gowns and the boys are in they tuxes. This year was my baby sisters prom so I went down to watch and had a lot of fun.

Belated Valentines
I've realized that I never posted anything about my Valentines so I'm playing catch up. This year was a great Valentines due in large part to my wonderful husband. Brady and I bought a duplex a few weeks before Valentines and wanted to fix up the place before we moved in. Brady wanted to surprise me by not letting me see the end result until it was all finished. He worked for weeks doing most of the work himself in getting it ready for us to move in. He wouldn't even give me any hints about what he was doing with the place. A few days before Valentines he finally told me I could come see it. He made me close my eyes and led me up the stairs to our place. He opened the door and we stepped inside. He told me to open my eyes and when I did I saw all the amazing work he had done. He had put in new carpet, painted, taken off the popcorn ceiling, put in new fixtures etc, etc. The best part is that he had moved all of my things in so that I didn't have to move anything. I hate packing and moving so I think it's the best present I have ever gotten. He also was very sweet and had roses sitting on the coffee table for me when I walked in. We had a nice dinner at home away from the business of everywhere else and just enjoyed being with each other in our new place. Brady is so amazing and put so much hard work and thought into everything. I am so grateful to have him as my husband and friend. I love you Brady!! Thanks for a wonderful Valentines.
P.S. I will post pics of our new place once I get around to taking some

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!
I love the holidays and was so excited to have my first married Christmas this year. It was great! We built gingerbread trains with our niece and nephews, had a great time at Brady's parents on Christmas Eve and had so much fun Christmas morning with my family. Its so fun to have kids around on Christmas because they get so excited. Connor and Cody were both so cute and excited for their new toys. We also went skiing right before Christmas with Brady's family which was a ton of fun. Brady's teaching me to ski and it's a good thing he is patient with me because my skiing skills are a little lacking. New Years Eve we just relaxed and spent the night eating ice cream and watching movies. We did make it to midnight but not much longer. Thanks everyone for making the Holidays so great!!
Our first Christmas tree. Brady was so sweet and surprised me with a real Christmas tree. I had gone to run some errands for the day and when I came back the tree was up with lights, decorations and the whole works. I was so excited. It's been awhile since I've had a real tree.

Connor...I mean bat man
Connor was so excited for all of his superhero figurines

I'm just so cute in the mornings! That's why he married me. Brady went above and beyond and surprised me with a new laptop! (Sorry no pic) I even found out he had gotten up at 4am the day after Thanksgiving, without me knowing, and waited in line to get it for me. For those of you who know Brady and how much he loves waiting in line and being in large groups of people all acting like idiots, you know how much he must love me for doing that. He even had to go back and wait in line again because they were all gone the first time he went. And being the wonderful wife I am, I got after him for sleeping in so long because I had know idea he had even left (sorry babe!). Is he amazing and wonderful or what?!!!
The Blackham Gang

On New Years day Brady and I went riding with our friend Kevin in the west desert. It was so much fun! I grew up with horses but haven't been for a long time. Brady always said riding horses was a preliminary to getting married but we never got the chance while we were dating. After the ride he told me he'd keep me around since he now knows I can ride a horse:) Thanks Kevin and Heather for letting me take your horse and thanks Brady for keeping me around.

2nd Annual Footie PJ Party
My cousins and I have started an annual Christmas footie pj party at my Grandma's house. We get together and watch the movie "The Best Christmas Ever" its a classic that we all have watched at my Grandm's house since we were little. I'm pretty sure we all know every line and song by heart. It was a great time and we even got my Grandma Parker to wear her footie pj's too.

Things I Love About My Hubby
Brady and I have been married for almost 6 months now and although marriage has required adjustments on both parts, I fall more in love with him as time goes on. Here are some of the things I love most about my hubby...
- His smile.
- His laugh, especially when he finds something really funny and he laughs really hard.
- Waking up next to him. He is so cute and cuddly in the morning.
- He talks and even occasionally sings in his sleep. It's hilarious. Some nights I have to try so hard not to laugh so I don't wake him up. He also has funny dreams. One night I woke up to him bending my elbow back and forth. After a minute he put my arm down and didn't say a word. I was too tired to ask what he was doing at that moment so I waited til morning. He told me he had had a dream that I broke my arm and when he realized what he was doing he put my arm down and hoped I wouldn't notice.
- When he sets his mind to something it will happen. He is very motivated and hard-working. He doesn't believe in doing something half-heartedly.
- He loves life to the fullest.
- He is adventurous
- He honors his priesthood and fulfills his callings.
- He can always make me laugh even if I don't want to.
- He gives great back massages.
- He is always the first to volunteer when someone needs help
- He takes care of me and is always looking out for my best interest.
- He is honest.
- He is always striving to be better, do more, learn more and be his best self, and helps me to do the same.
- He is willing to help whoever needs help and never expects anything in return.
- He protects me from spiders.
