3 Months Old

Kinley is now 3 months old and I cant believe it. She is so much fun and it is so fun to keep watching her discover new things.

She has now discovered her hands and like to play on her floor mat and grab at the toys.
She loves to look at herself in the mirror and gets this shy little smile when she sees herself.
She sleeps from around 10:30pm to around 6am and then wakes up for the day around 9am
She loves to push up on her legs and stand with our help of course
She still loves bath time and really likes to splash now
She loves to be in the carrier and just walk around with me wherever I go
She is almost laughing but not quite yet
Still loves sucking on her fists
She likes to sit in the bumbo
She no longer sleeps swaddled
She talks/coos more for mommy but daddy can usually get the biggest smiles

We love you miss Kinley and can't believe you are 3 months old already!

On Sunday March 3rd we had Kinley blessed at church. Brady gave her the sweetest blessing. I am so grateful for Brady having the priesthood and being able to use it for moments like this. Kinley did so well and stayed quiet the whole time. Most of our families were able to make it and share this wonderful day with us. We are so lucky to have such loving supportive families.

2 Months Old

Kinley is now 2 months old and just keeps getting cuter and more fun. We love this little girl so much and love watching her grow and learn. Here are some of her updates.

Her 2 month stats

Weight: 12.52 lb, 79.57 percentile
Length: 23.75 in, 94.61 percentile
Head Circumference: 15.5 in, 83.53 percentile

She has the cutest smile and when she smiles really big she crinkles her nose which I love.
She hasn't quite laughed yet but I can tell it is close and I am so excited
She loves to coo
She sleeps 5-7 hours most nights
She can now hold her head up with only the occasional head bobble
She will sit in a bouncer chair on the table long enough for me to make dinner or get a few things done
She drools constantly
She loves sucking on her fists and is pretty close to fitting the whole thing in her mouth

2 months old

I am so glad Kinley was able to meet her Great Grandma Blackham. She was such a sweet lady and died about 1 week after this picture was taken. Kinley even gave her some big smiles which made grandma really happy.

Things we have discovered about Miss Kinley

Now that we have had Miss Kinley with us for a little while I thought I would share some of the things we have discovered about her.

She has the cutest chubby buddah belly and double chin...I love a fat baby!
She so far sleeps very well at night which mommy really appreciates. She usually sleeps 4-5 hrs when I first put her down and then 3-4 hrs after the second time I get up with her.
She wakes up every morning between 7:30 and 8am with some tummy pains but as soon as I put her in bed with me she snuggles up and goes back to sleep...one of my favorite times of the day with her.
She loves to sleep with her hands up by her face
She loves to suck on her hands
She loves to have her feet rubbed. She can be a little fussy and if we start to rub her feet she will more often than not calm down.
She has started to smile and I cant get enough.
She is a little bit more of a mommy's girl right now even though daddy got the first non-gas smiles out of her.
She loves to be bounced up and down
She gets hiccups at least once a day...same as when I was pregnant with her
She loves bath time
She puckers her lips when she has to go to the bathroom
She takes a bottle really well but starts to sound like a grunting gremlin if she doesn't get to eat fast enough.
She has started to focus and loves to sit in her swing and look at the mobile on it
She has the cutest sneezes
She snores occasionally which is so cute (gets that from her daddy)

We really just can't get enough of this sweet girl and feel so blessed to have her in our lives!

Kinley One Month Old

Kinley is already a month old and I can't believe it! This little girl is the light of my life! I know everyone says this when they have a kid but I really don't know what we ever did without her. She is such a good baby and we love her so much. Brady is wrapped around her finger and is so good with her. I love to watch him with her. I can't wait for what is to come with her in our lives but just hope it doesn't go by too quickly. Here are some of her milestones in her first month.
